RN Lactation Consultant

Job Type: Part time/ Full time 24 to 36 hours weekly
Location: In Office Everett, WA

Compensation: $45.00 - $58.00 per hour DOE & Licensure

ScheduleMinimum two days weekly, Desired four days weekly. Average in-clinic days are 8.5 hours. No weekends or holidays.

​Description:
Pacific Wellness is looking for a Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant to support perinatal families in a clinic setting. This role includes hands-on support working with families experiencing complex infant feeding and lactation challenges. This role provides evaluation, management and counseling related to breastfeeding, lactation, perinatal care and more. Additionally this role supports the Family Nurse Practitioner in patient/client care and includes assistance in clinic procedures including but not limited infant frenectomy, therapeutic ultrasound, culture retrieval and more.


Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in WA State

  • 90 hours continuing education in lactation / perinatal care 

  • Excellent customer service, organization, multitasking and prioritization skills

  • Clear communication skills verbally and written

  • CPR certification (BLS for the Healthcare Provider)

​Desired Qualifications:

  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

  • Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)

  • 2+ years experience in postpartum and lactation care in-patient and outpatient

​

This position includes and is not limited to:

  • Delivering hands on and virtual patient/client care within the scope of Registered Nurse in WA State

  • Using professional collaboration and communication with members of the care team

  • Documenting all patient and client care activities using the secure HIPAA compliant EHR

  • Maintaining an updated professional license and updated appropriate professional certificates as applicable

  • Other duties within professional scope and as agreed upon by all parties

Medical Billing Specialist

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Medical Billing Specialist. This position works IN PERSON with our team of Billing Specialists and is responsible for efficiently handling a variety of billing tasks including charge entry, payment posting, patient interfacing, and managing insurance A/R follow up. This position is exclusively in person in Everett, WA USA.

Medical office, IN PERSON ONLY
Work Location: 2 to 3 days (Days available: Tues-Friday) in office Everett, WA
Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week

Our services are sincere and personalized, because we believe that families deserve quality care that supports each unique need. We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities

Processing daily clinic charges/ Complete general medical billing for the clinic and all providers
Enter in accurate insurance information into the billing software and electronic health record
Review, submit and process claims
Answer patient billing questions, return phone calls in a timely manner
Troubleshoot claim denials/ problem claims
Insurance verification
Review, enter and submit insurance remittances
Coordinate payment plans
Collect and process patient payments
Manually enter charges into billing software when applicable
Correct Registration errors and/or communicate errors with PSR as needed
Work A/R reports and make necessary phone calls and submit corrected claims (when necessary) via specific insurance carriers preferred method
Work file rejected claims.
Insurance refunds, request recoups or write up refund requests.
Engage supervisor over any AR issues with insurances/contracting/credentialing


Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year experience in full cycle medical milling and claim processing
Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
Unrestricted ability to work in WA State​


Desired Qualifications:

2+ years experience in full cycle medical billing and claim processing
Full-cycle billing experience is highly preferred;
Successful completion of an accredited medical billing/coding program
National Certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding
Experience with Kareo/Tebra EHR and Billing software


Schedule:

20-24 hours per week
8.5 hour shifts
Day shift
No Weekends or Holidays
