Wellness Care Planning:
What is a Wellness Care Plan?

At Pacific Wellness & Lactation we understand that your life has many moving parts and that the transitions during pregnancy and postpartum can be complicated and overwhelming and that medication is not the answer alone. We provide holistic Wellness Care Plans to help identify areas in your life where more support is needed and then help find realistic support options. Wellness Care Planning is not therapy. It complements traditional therapy and is a systematic way of identifying areas in your life where you are experiencing challenges and identify support. Some of the common areas of focus are sleep, nutrition, pumping support and partner transitions. A Registered Nurse who is Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) partners with you to develop your individual Wellness Care Plan while also assisting to connect you with resources that are in your community.
